A bit rare form of Actaea pachypoda, with deep pink (or red berries) instead of white displayed on red, thick stalks; the same conspicuous black spot of the stigma scar. Some don’t recognize it saying it’s a hybrid between A. pachypoda and A. rubra but it doesn’t seem to have intermediate characters.
Very striking and my favourite Actaea. Everything else and germination like for Actaea pachypoda with ‘regular’ white berries. They would look amazing planted together.
