Aquilegia from the Origami line has as a parent A. coerulea – the parentage is seen in the very long spurs.
They are short, compact and long flowering.
The mother plant has white flowers, and it was a bit far away from other Aquilegias, but is hard to say how the progenitors will really look.
Worth trying though, some new even more interesting form may appear.
Germination: sown in the fall outdoors; or GA3 treatment.
