Arisaema flavum is very hardy and reliable, usually small to medium size, with flowers in various shades of yellow/with some purple on the throat. They always give me the impression of a bird head peeking out from the beautiful shoe-shaped leaf (pedatisectat, botanically speaking).
I have a line of youngsters growing up but I will sow a few more myself because when planted in a little colony it looks the best. The bonus of this Arisaema is that it has both female and male flowers on the same spadix, so you also get to always enjoy the red fruits in the garden.
Germination: easy, warm germinator: sow in early spring under lights or later outside.
