The common name says it all for this plant – it looks like a Scabiosa ochroleuca on steroids! It forms an imposing, tall clump with dark-green basal leaves and towering flowering stems with cream coloured Scabiosa-like flowers.

If you have the space, go for it; it requires certain cut back after flowering or staking – but when grown in full sun that is not really necessary.

Germination: usually a warm germinator, but it would be safe to provide 1 month of cold-moist stratification.
