This is a tickseed with bright, yellow flowers that will appear usually in June. Drought tolerant and easy to grow, it can be short lived in the garden but it will self-seed. Good pollinator plant for the flower border. In the wild it combines wonderfully with Campanula rotundifolia and Lilium philadelphicum.
Germination: after cold-moist stratification for 3 months. Some sources indicate that the seeds require light exposure for germination.
