A beautiful ‘hairy’ Primula relative with kidney-shape, toothed leaves – worth growing just for the foliage! But it gets better – inflorescences with purple/violet, bell-shaped flowers on long stems appear in late spring/summer.
It can be a bit variable species, nevertheless a very beautiful and easy to grow species. The image with the flowering plant is taken in the wild (Carpathians).
Germination: sow in the fall or spring after cold/moist stratification.
