Description
A mix of Corydalis solida mix in all colors, including lovely reds and pinks and all others.
This offering keeps very well with the reality of Corydalis solida and allies: they will cross pollinate so despite best efforts mixed colors will always appear.
Have a look at the gallery to see what the mix may contain.
Nothing says spring is here better than the fleshy, ferny foliage of Corydalis solida, followed by colorful spurred flowers. Once you establish a few, they will multiply by themselves in a rainbow of colors.
Very economical to do from seeds, especially for naturalizing. True colors can be maintained only if multiplied from bulbs; the seedlings will vary greatly but are all delightful.
Germination: explained in detail here – Growing Corydalis solida & allies from seeds.
In the gallery: 1 and two years old seedlings. It can also be sown directly in the garden – incorporate the seeds into the ground, close to a perennial/fern, or anywhere else you know no new planting will be done and where you water during dry spells.
