A small size Daphne, usually remains under 1 m in cultivation, deciduous and with yellow, fragrant flowers in terminal clusters; late spring blooming. Fruits, red berries.

Said to be very hardy and adaptable, one of the best yellow-flowered Daphne for the rock gardens.
Germination: sow in the fall to early winter; require cold/moist stratification.
