The pretty shooting star can be variable in height; it has reflexed vivid, deep pink flowers, united in a yellowish collar with a wavy purplish ring. The capsules will open with 5 valves.
Great for the spring décor around a pond, stream bank or at a moist edge of a woodland bed.
Germination: sown in the fall or spring after cold-moist stratification. Seeds are very small and require superficial sowing.
