Description
Edraianthus is a Campanula relative and while a few species are strictly rock garden plants, Edraianthus graminifolius is not a fussy species. It can be grown at the edge of the raised flower bed, on top of dry walls, in a full sun/well drained location.
Like its name suggests, it has linear, grassy leaves in a tight clump and large, blue, campanulate flowers on spreading stems in terminal clusters in May-June. Even the clusters of capsules are looking quite cool until they mature.
Germination: easy warm germinator; start indoors under lights or outdoors in late spring; sow superficial.
