This is one of our plant pets; actually it was grown believed to be something else but in the end was adopted with enthusiasm.
It forms a low clump of silvery, fuzzy leaves in a rosette and flower stems bearing yellow, ‘daisy’ type flowers in early summer.
Not weedy at all, like other hawkweeds, take my word on this. Perfect in the rockery or scree garden. Contrasts beautifully with other fine textured foliage plants like Thalictrum, Lunaria, Aquilegia…
Germination: easy, sown in the spring.
