Moneses is a small perennial species with a rosette of basal leaves and very distinctive, fragrant, white flowers. They have a large ovary surrounded by hooked stamens.
Usually found in cool, damp places in coniferous woods.
Germination: very difficult to grow from seeds, just like Pyrola and Chimaphila. But if someone wants to give it a try best to sow the very fine seeds directly in the garden in a similar location with their wild habitat.
