The alpine butterwort grows at high altitude, has white flowers and it forms the same rosettes like P. vulgaris, of green, sometimes reddish leaves. In the featured image is precisely the plant I collected seeds from.

Germination: probably same like P. vulgaris; cold-moist treatment for 8-12 weeks. In regions with cold winters it can be sown in pots in the fall and left outside.
