The Sea blush is an annual species, variable in height and flower colour. Despite the name, it can also be found growing on mossy boulders in part shade, the pink flowers making a wonderful contrast with the reindeer lichens.
These seeds were collected from plants growing in part shade on mossy boulders; +/- 25 cm tall and with deep pink flowers. Very nice, especially in large groups; it will reseed in place.
sown in the fall (cold/moist stratification).Update: germination in about 3 weeks at 4-8C (in a cold garage), so it’s probable they will even germinate directly at warm (room temp.)
