A dioecious meadow rue with bluish-green, lacy, compound foliage and pom-pom like lilac flowers (actually the stamens) on the male plants. They look very well when planted in groups. Female plants are not as showy; but by growing them from seeds one will obtain both male and female plants.
One can never have enough meadow rues in his garden!
Germination: sown in the fall or spring (after cold-moist stratification).
