Description
A most delicate Thalictrum, not easy to photograph; lax inflorescences of lavender, large flowers (with protruding yellow stamens) which are trailing over the fine, lacy foliage. The stems are purple and make a nice contrast with the foliage turning yellow in the fall. The flowering stem is tall and trailing; it combines nicely with plants that can provide support (Deinanthe, Polygonatum, even a small Japanese maple).
In my garden it starts flowering in August (in part-shade) and the foliage turns a very nice yellow color in October.
Germination: should germinate at warm, if not after a month switch the pot in cold conditions for a few weeks.
