The Lingonberry is a well known little evergreen shrub, if not for its ornamental qualities then for the culinary ones :)
Called after many common names depending on the region of the world, the berries are a staple food especially in Nordic countries; used in various ways and delicious recipes. They also have medicinal properties.
It is a valuable evergreen addition for the colder regions gardens, and a very good plant for pollinators (honey-bee food plant).
Germination: require moist/cold stratification, the colder the better. Sowed in the fall or throughout the winter; either way, it can have an irregular germination.
