Yet another violet, but aren’t all of them lovely?
Blue-violet, beardless flowers with a large, wide spur (which helps in ID, together with the only basal leaves, with a narrow, deep sinus….).

A good violet to grow in the moist, cool woodland garden on rotten logs and/or moss boulders/crevices, like it does in the wild.
Germination: usually warm germinator.
