Description
A biennial or perennial species with basal spoon shaped pubescent leaves and white flowers in dense, elongating racemes. They are followed by thin, erect fruits (siliques) which give the plant an interesting look.
Variable in appearance depending on the habitat. In a sunny location it remains rather compact with a nice look at flowering time; in a more shaded location the flowering stems have grown more elongated.
So, I recommend it for a sunny position for its early spring flowering.
Germination: very easy, warm germinator (room temp.), truly a beginners plant. Transplant a few seedlings together for a ‘clumpy’ look.
