Description
Campanula alpina is a dwarf species with large blue flowers on short stems. A truly alpine, dwarf bellflower good for a moist rockery. Hard to grow in a climate with humid summers.
Germination: warm germinator; the seedlings are easy going, but good luck is required for establishing it in the rock garden (it forms a tap root so dislikes transplanting; well drained, slightly acidic substrate).
