The Snowbrush Ceanothus is a spreading, evergreen shrub with thick, shiny leaves and white flowers in large pyramidal clusters. All parts of the shrub are pleasantly fragrant plus it is a nitrogen fixing species.
A small size shrub impressive especially in flower, alas that it is not more hardy.
Germination: for most Ceanothus species, treating the seeds with hot water, followed by cold-moist stratification 2-3 months.
