Description
This is a 20 cm tall compact Corydalis with densely packed purple flowers with lighter spurs, which have a very nice perfume. It stands out from among the crowd of Corydalis.
I always appreciate the fragrance in Corydalis because not many have it; even if you have to get down to the ground to enjoy the fragrance, it is a big bonus in the early spring season.
Taking all characters into consideration I suspect this form to have some Corydalis kusnetzovii ‘blood’, but nothing can be sure about Corydalis inheritance when grown from seeds.
Like all other nice Corydalis forms that appeared in my garden, it was selected from a mix of Corydalis seeds received from a friend quite a few years ago.
There is no way to know if the seedlings will resemble the mother plant! Maybe you will get a few similar or maybe all will be different. Please read carefully the post provided for germination.
