Description
This is the tick-trefoil I like; smaller and more delicate than Dsemodium canadense. The leafless flowering stems are held above the foliage revealing the pink pea-shaped flowers. The fruits will stick to your clothes when hiking, so sometimes you may bring them home with you.
For part-shaded areas and edges of woodland gardens; it does well even in dry situations. An important species for woodland pollinators and wildlife.
Germination: sown in the fall/winter (or spring if provided cold-moist stratification).
