Description
Another Dianthus with white, fringed flowers and fragrant flowers! The flowers are a bit smaller in this species but it is one that flowers for an extremely long period of time in the summer.
Requires a full sun location with very good drainage (you can locally amend the planting hole by adding sand).
It is more and more difficult to pick a favorite, so better grow them all :) We can never have enough fragrant, fringed Dianthus in the garden!
Germination: at room temperature, start indoors under lights or sow outdoors in the spring. The mother-plant was raised from wild coll. seeds but in the garden Dianthus species cross-pollinate easily.
