Description
A low growing Eriogonum from a woody caudex, forming mats of woolly leaves in compact, basal rosettes and inflorescences with flowers (perianths) pale yellow, rarely yellow (E. ursinum var. ursinum). Endemic to California.
It seems to be a great new species to try in the rockery! First, we have to grow it from seeds.

Germination: for other Eriogonum species a period of 2-3 months of cold/moist stratification is recommended, so we should sow these seeds in late fall/early winter.
