Description
A form of Hepatica acutiloba which has with 5-7 leaf lobes. In a clump not all leaves show the variation, and the seedlings will first display 3 lobed leaves.
Usually a vigorous form with whitish to pinkish flowers (I didn’t get to see the flowers of the particular clump I collected seeds). The foliage is faintly marbled and will show the markings in the fall; its most attractive feature, as seen in garden cultivated specimen.
Germination
In general, Hepatica seeds may all germinate in the first spring after sowing, or they may germinate after one more year, or a combination of both. It is necessary to take care of the pots during all this time! The first flower can appear after 3-4 years.
