Description
Limber honeysuckle is a twining or trailing vine, depending on the case/location. The flowers are usually deep maroon or red. They are followed by a very attractive bunch of red berries in the summer. The foliage may also turn yellow in the fall.
A good native vine to introduced at the edge of the woodland garden; flowers are loved by the hummingbirds and other pollinators.
Germination: cold/moist stratification; sow in late fall/early winter.
