Description
A mat forming Minuartia with a very fine texture overall: thin stems with tiny, narrow leaves and white flowers in lax inflorescences.
A native species for a full sun to part-shade and rather dry location: in the rockery or front of a border. It can also grow interlaced with other small plants given its fine texture.
Germination: easy, warm germinator (do not sow too many seeds/pot!). It flowers in the first year after sowing. I prefer to plant bunches of grown-up seedlings directly in the ground, the seedlings being too fine and difficult to prick-out.
