Description
A well-known, prized aromatic plant with pale purple flowers in large terminal, showy heads from June to September. A great Monarda that can be used as a honey plant, medicinal, garden ornamental, or even better, for all these purposes together!
Great for bees, butterfly and hummingbird gardens, naturalized areas, and don’t forget to harvest a few leaves for the tea-time.
Germination: easy, started indoors or it can be sown outdoors in late spring; the small seeds need to be sown superficial.
