Description
These are seeds from plants which fit well the description of ssp. veitchii, and I think best to keep them separately offered than those of P. anomala.
Previous offerings of P. anomala may have also contained seeds of spp. veitchii; it is very hard to tell because young plants can display only 1-2 flowers for a while; at least that’s what happened with my plants.
According with descriptions, ssp. veitchii greatly resembles ssp. anomala, and differs only by having 2-4 flowers per stems with 1-2 undeveloped axillary buds. But, it is possible to also have solitary flowers! I know it sounds confusing.
Both ssp. are extremely beautiful anyway and super tough plants for colder climates.
Germination: warm/cold cycles.
