Description
A smaller size form of the Japanese white pine with short blue-gray needles useful for small gardens.
Also a popular tree for bonsai or container growing being slow growing and easily shaped (even in the garden) by removing/cutting the new shoots in the ‘candle’ stage.
Germination: most sources indicate that the seeds require first a warm/moist stratification (2 months) followed by a cold/moist stratification (3 months).
