Description
This is a very nice dwarf Potentilla which was gifted to me as a seedlings under a different name (clearly wrong just after the foliage). After flowering and establishing the name I was surprised to see it survive in my rockery; with good drainage seems to be fine for now.
Worth having just for the beautiful grey, pubescent foliage (leaves with 3-5 folioles), changing to orange-red in late fall. Large yellow, bright flowers on elongated stems in early summer.
Germination: slow, warm germinator supposedly; keep your pots for 2 years anyway.
