Description
Considered a ssp. of Primula veris (cowslip), with main differences lying in an overall large size, especially in regard with the flower calyces.
A large group of flowering cowslips is one of the most cheerful signs of spring! Mine are combined with Corydalis, Lathyrus vernus and Primula x polyantha for the spring show (for those in need of inspiration). The mother plants were grown from wild coll. seeds in Altai Mts.

Germination: sow in late fall/winter.
