Description
Gray headed coneflower is characterized by a slender habit with rigid flower stems bearing flowers with a central grey, elongated disk surrounded by bright yellow ray flowers, pointing downwards. It has a very long flowering period and tolerates dry soils.
Useful in perennial borders, wildflower meadows and naturalization projects.
Germination: sow in late fall/winter (cold/moist stratification).
