Description
It was a nice surprise to see this miniature-like Rubus in the wild for the first time. The fruits were just beginning to ripe so don’t wait too long if you want a few seeds.
A mat forming species with white flowers spring to early summer, followed by red raspberry-like clusters with 1-6 drupelets; edible of course. The stems are herbaceous and stoloniferous (no thorns at all).
Germination: we can assume that like with all other Rubus species, the seeds will need alternate periods of cold/warm for germination, maybe repeated. Sow the seeds outdoors and be patient.
