Description
A sage with very tall flower stems, covered in cream flowers; they arise from a basal rosette of large leaves. A statuesque, drought resistant plant enjoyed by pollinators in early summer. Good at the back of plant border or as a focal point in a scree garden.
The mother-plant was raised from wild coll. seeds in the Dobroges steppe region. Keep the label in your records, the origin of the plant is important; later there may be an announcement about this species.
A good companion for Centaurea jankae, various thymes, Eryngium, Centaurea orientalis…
Germination: warm germinator.
