Description
Resembling a lot, foliage-wise, with Tiarella and Heuchera and flower-wise with Mitella (Tellima is a name anagram of Mitella), the fringe cup will form nice foliage clumps, almost evergreen in mild climates.
The whitish flowers on terminal racemes are larger than Mitella and have 5 reflexed fringed petals; they usually age to pink (the picture with pinkish flowers was taken in a garden, I don’t know if the flowers always age to pink).
A good species for part shaded and rather moist locations.
Germination: sow in late fall/winter.
