Description
Like the common name described it, this is a Trillium with single, nodding white flowers atop a long flowering stalk. The leaves are quite large; the fruit ripen to red resembling that of T. erectum.
It seems to be an endangered species in ON, usually found growing in the Carolinian forest habitat. The seeds are provided from garden grown plants.
Germination: like for other Trilliums, sow asap and provide slightly warm/cold cycles (moist). Sometimes 2 years are needed for complete germination (warm/cold cycles x 2).
