Description
The Hoary Vervain has an extremely long flowering period, mid-summer to fall with narrow spikes of purple flowers and gray-green foliage. Can be short-lived but will self-seed.
An easy plant to grow from seeds and useful in wildflower borders, native gardens, natural meadows; larval host for the Common buckeye butterfly.
