Description
Lovely cultivar, similar with the wild collected A. canadensis-short form, with a multitude of flowers on a compact growth.
I don’t know if always the case, but after flowering in profusion one season my plant disappeared; it may be short lived. It is very easy to grow from seeds and it will also self-seed around.
Germination: easy, it self seeds in the summer (warm germinator); seeds of previous year require a short period of cold-moist stratification or with GA3 treatment just before sowing (soaking the seeds in 500 ppm solution for 24 hours works just fine).
Seeds germinate best when sown very superficially, covered only by a thin layer of the sowing substrate.
