Trillium grandiflorum1

Sarracenia purpurea1

From our main Base Camp in Southwestern Ontario, Canada, we ship to all Canadian regions, and some European countries.  The situation can change from one day to another, so in principle, if you don’t find a shipping option for your country it means we don’t ship to it.

Currently we do not ship seeds to USA due to the difficulties of working with the Small Lot of Seeds permit.

Please take note that we are not responsible for the safe arrival of the seeds at your shipping address; once an order has been shipped, it will be considered delivered. Depending on your country, there may be restrictions regarding the seeds import of certain species that we cannot be aware of; it is the recipient’s duty to inquire about these conditions and regulations prior to ordering. We cannot replace seeds/refund an order that has been seized by Customs.

Orders are sent Canada Post Lettermail. To keep the shipping costs low, we don’t use tracking/registered mail. Customers are responsible for providing a correct address.

The minimum seed packets/order for ANY order: Canada = 2 (checkout is not possible with only 1 pck. in the cart!) and for International rates = 4
Various restrictions within the shipping rates apply for species with large seeds (Paeonia, Calycanthus, Symplocarpus, Staphylea pinnata, Caulophyllum….).

All prices are in Canadian currency (CAD). Orders are shipped through Canada Post regular Lettermail.
These are the current Shipping rates, including handling fees:

Canada
up to 15$ – 5 $
15- 35$    – 5.50$
35-50$    – 6$
50-75$    – 6.70$
75-100$   – 7.50$
(*additional shipping may be charged if the weight of the parcel doesn’t qualify anymore for lettermail shipping. It can happen if many packets of moist packed seeds are ordered, they are heavier than regular seeds)

EU countries, including CH, NOR and UK
We are sorry, for the time being we are unable to provide Phytosanitary Certificates.

min. 4 pck – max. 7 pck. of seeds (restrictions apply for very large seeds) – 8.60$   (up to 100 g)
The postage cost has increase greatly, this is the actual cost of the stamp; I don’t want to add more restrictions but in case someone orders moist packed seeds for example, the postage will be over 100 g. the cost difference will be invoiced.

For special requests, if you plan to order only species with very small seeds, and non-EU members: please inquire before ordering using the: Contact form.

Asia, Russia, Ukraine – shipping currently suspended

Australia – with regret, shipping has been discontinued due to the new requirement of  the Phytosanitary Certificate, on top of all other restrictions.
New Zealand – ordering & shipping still allowed upon inquiring (except moist packed seeds).

Delivery

Orders are prepared in 3-5 days, depending on the time of year. We keep seeds in bulk, check and package them individually only when ordered to ensure you receive the best quality seeds.
The delivery time will depend on the destination and Canada Post working loads, usually from 1-3 weeks.

 Guarantee

Our guarantee is that all species are correctly identified and collected in a responsible, environmentally friendly manner. Keep in mind that hybridization is possible for various genera (Aquilegia, Clematis…); also ‘to err is human’ especially when collecting in the wild habitats.

Garden collected seeds originate from organically managed gardens. NO chemicals are used in the process of cleaning/storing & packing the seeds.

We will be checking germination whenever possible; however, it is up to you to break the dormancy in the case of those more difficult to germinate species. Please follow closely the germination requirements and read all the additional information provided on the website.

Due to the perishable nature of seeds, there is a NO RETURNS policy.

Should you encounter any difficulty when ordering or have any special requests or questions, please use the Contact form.

Thank you for your interest in growing plants from seeds!
