Description
A very fine sedge with 1-3 mm wide leaves and slender stems. Its common name comes from the strikingly golden colored, almost round perigynia at maturity, which are particular for this species.
Grow it in a moist nook of the rockery, among the rocks at a pond’s edge, or other similar places.
Germination: cold/moist stratification, sow in late fall/early winter.
