Description
A very conspicuous and beautiful native sedge with broad, green-bluish ribbed leaves; a very nice texture for the woodland garden! The leaves can be evergreen or semi-evergreen depending on the climate. Also very showy when it flowers in early spring.
In my garden it tolerates some dryness (mature plants but it will not grow as luxuriant).
Germination: cold/moist stratification, sow in late fall/early winter.
