Description
A former variety of Dodecatheon meadia elevated to the species rank, the French’s Shooting star is a rather localized species growing in shaded, moist areas. The few or many white flowers are on tall stems and the mature leaves nearly always have a distinctive cordate base.

These seeds are from a cultivated plant I didn’t see so I cannot guarantee its identity 100%.
Worth trying if you have a shaded moist area in the rockery, around your pond.
Germination: sown in the fall or spring after 2-3 months of cold/moist stratification provided.
