Description
Draba aizoides is a great species for the rockeries due to its very early flowering in the spring. It features small, evergreen, compact rosettes and bright, yellow flowers, a sight to behold after a cold, long winter.
Most years it is in a flowering competition with Draba hispanica, another great species for very early spring flowering.
Germination: easy, warm germinator like most Draba; fine seeds – sow superficial. Best to transplant the sowing pot as a whole in a bigger pot or directly in the rockery.
