Description
A super tough shrubby Dryas, forming a mat of dark green, leathery leaves. Distinctive yellow flowers which are followed by fluffy achenes later.
A great species for the rockery; the wild habitat always gives clues for cultivation, so I would say not particularly good for areas with hot/dry summers or without winter snow cover. Otherwise, a great species to grow in the rockery.
Germination: sow in the fall/winter (cold/moist stratification).
