Description
A more familiar Gentiana, but still not very often cultivated. Erect or procumbent flowering stems with axillary blue flowers. It reminds of Gentiana phlogifolia from the Carpathian Mts., which was actually considered at some point a subsp. of G. cruciata.

Germination: cold/moist stratification – sow in late fall/winter; an easy to grow from seeds Gentiana.
