Description
This species was named first Woronowia and Sieversia, then they settled for Geum to keep things simple.
It grows a large clump of Geum-like, felty foliage and tall flower stems with deep yellow, small flowers but with a long blooming period.
If you want to grow something different than a regular Geum, give it a try. It needs space and looks great in a rather moist garden spot among others like Geum rivale, Lobelia, Iris, Trollius, Primulas and so on.
Space is at premium in my garden but this Geum is a keeper.
Germination: cold/moist stratification; sow in late fall/early winter.
