Description
Another exciting finding which was also named because it is special. Star-like blue-purple flowers and narrower than usual leaf lobes; good fall coloration.
There is high probability of coming true from seeds; the 2 years-old seedlings foliage looks true to the mother plant.
Germination: excellent germination and the seedlings are fast growing (same like the H. acutiloba pastel mix).
Hepatica seeds may all germinate in the first spring after sowing; or they may germinate after one more year, or a combination of both. It is necessary to take care of the pots during all this time! The first flowering: after 3-4 years.
