Description
Seeds collected from pure white flowered specimens growing in a small colony and also from a white garden specimen. Still, open pollination means no guarantee all seedlings will come true to color. The foliage was beautifully marbled in late fall/winter; this character is usually constant, but it also depends on the amount of sun they receive, so when grown with too much shade in fall/winter the foliage may remain green.
I noticed that deep blue and other colors are usually favored for all Hepaticas, but there is something special when you see a specimen covered in pure white flowers.
Germination:
For some forms the seeds will germinate in the first spring after sowing entirely, for others they will germinate after one more year or a combination of both; it is necessary to take care of the pots during all this time! The first flowers: after 3-4 years.
